The IndexHub launcher is on its way
A small program that installs your games, keeps them up to date and checks every file before it runs them.
The store is here, and so are accounts. The missing piece is the launcher: the program on your computer that does the boring work for you.
What it will do:
- Install the games in your library with one click, and start them.
- Update them on its own, downloading only the files that changed instead of the whole game.
- Check every file against a digital signature before using it: if something doesn't match, it won't install it.
- Never leave you half-way: an update is prepared next to the version you have, and the switch happens only once it's complete.
It comes to Windows first, through the Microsoft Store. We'll let you know here when it's ready.
