How we protect your account
Servers in Italy, no tracking, passwords never stored in plain text. And you can download or delete your data whenever you like.
We took our time before opening accounts. Here's what happens to your data, plainly.
- Everything runs on our own server in Milan. No third-party services for sign-in, analytics or ads.
- We don't know your password: we only keep a cryptographic fingerprint of it. You can also sign in with a passkey, no password at all.
- Against automated programs we use a small proof of computation in your browser, not someone else's captcha.
- An account never gets locked out for good: after too many wrong passwords it pauses for about twenty minutes, and recovery arrives by email.
- Your data is yours: from the Account page you download it as a file, and you can delete the account from there too.
