Terms of service

The service

IndexHub is a store for games and software run by Nicola Sabaini, a private individual (contact: privacy@indexhub.it). By using the store or creating an account, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 14 to create an account; if you are under 18, you need a parent's permission.
• Use an email address that is yours and permanent: it is needed for sign-in codes and password recovery.
• An account is personal: don't share it, and keep your password and passkeys safe. If you think someone else is using it, change your password and write to us.
• Don't create accounts automatically, and don't use programs that sign in for you.

The games

• The games remain the property of their authors. When you add them to your library, you receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install them and use them for private purposes.
• You may not resell them, redistribute them or make them available to others, nor get around their protections, except where the law allows you to anyway.
• For each game the store offers a single version, the latest one: updates arrive automatically through the launcher. A game may change or be withdrawn from the store; if it is in your library, we'll let you know beforehand whenever possible.
• Free games stay free for anyone who already has them in their library. Any future purchases will have their own conditions, which you will read before paying.

What is not allowed

Attacking or overloading the services, trying to get in where you are not authorised, getting around limits or anti-abuse protections, using cheats or programs that harm other players in online matches, using the store for illegal activities.

Availability and liability

The store is offered free of charge and we do our best to keep it running at all times, but we cannot guarantee that there will never be interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage arising from the use of the service or from being unable to use it. This does not limit your rights as a consumer, nor our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Closing your account

You can delete your account whenever you want from the Account page (or by writing to privacy@indexhub.it). We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these terms; except in urgent cases (for example an ongoing attack), we will warn you first and explain why.

Changes

If we change these terms in an important way, we'll tell you by email at least 15 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can close your account.

Governing law

Italian law applies. For disputes with a consumer, the court of the place where the consumer lives has jurisdiction. Versions in other languages are translations: in case of doubt, the Italian version prevails.
